Over the years, Woodlands of Marburg has expanded its function and event spaces to cater for any size or style of event. Following extensive renovations and restorations, the mansion has been returned to its former glory and is regarded as one of the most unique and grand venues in South East Queensland.

Function and event options

Enjoy the timeless elegance and old world charm of the Mansion’s original dining rooms, located on the ground level. Panelled red cedar walls, chandeliers and original fireplaces create the perfect ambience for private dining or an intimate wedding or cocktail reception in an elegant setting.

Sandstone Cellar (seats up to 25)

Flickering candlelight on the sandstone walls and hardwood-beamed ceiling set the mood for a small but intimate gathering of family and friends in the cellar.

For those who would like to add a bit of mystery to their visit, the cellar is rumoured to be haunted, which makes it the perfect setting for murder mystery parties for something a little bit different for your guests.

The Poinciana Room (seats up to 50)

The perfect space for business conferencing if you want no distractions. This room has all the comforts of a conference room with the added bonus of being located at such a beautiful property. Great for use as a class room, lecture area or as a business conference centre.

The Jacaranda Room (seats up to 60)

With magnificent views stretching over the Marburg Ranges from the wooden decks, the recently renovated Jacaranda Room is spacious and modern, making it the perfect space for intimate wedding receptions and large celebrations, or as a business conference centre.

The Marquee (seats up to 350)

Our largest event space, the Marquee, is the perfect location to host an event never to be forgotten. Overlooking mountain ranges, the silk-lined marquee is fitted with crystal chandeliers, dance floor, stage and bar.

With large windows and sliding doors on either side, the cool evening cross breezes add to the ambience of this magnificent function space.
